So when i launched audacity within gentoo linux, a strange ground loop occurred. However, adjusting the volume settings within alsamixer caused the ground loop to become different per volume settings. The higher the volume, the less noise is produced; the lower the volume, the more noise is produced. I hereby proclaim this into the public domain, no restrictions! have fun, y'all!.

While editing the sound i posted prior to this, some sort of glitch in logic's system gave me this. I made sure to keep it for freesound. It's just a few seconds of a glitchy, vocal-esque sound. Already mixed it together somewhat. It might be good for dj's.

I think, this sound is good for spawning metallic or sharp objects in games. Maybe, falling of metallic barrel or some strange space rocks will be apropriate. Opening of spaceship doors seems good too.

I found a set of bells somewhere and decided to record myself ringing them. I do not remember the context or where the bells were found, but they were beautiful in a strange and magical way. Someone's phone starts ringing at the end which was hilarious.

I was just messing around in audacity, doing some things with a party noise maker sound effect, i slowed it down, put some reverb & echo, messed with the pitch a little bit, and got this! it's supposed to be kinda like "trumpets in the sky" and/or war of the worlds inspired.

That was originally a boring industrial water heating system furnace. So i fooled around with audio effects to give that result that sounds like one of those old low budget science fiction movies or even some cartoons. It can be used in many type of stuff, it's up to your imagination.

My headphones started to screw themselves over while i was going for a walk with them and it started pouring in the middle of my walk. Which made my headphones pretty much unusable and it seemed to make this strange static noise even when turned off. It was actually kinda creepy but i did realise that this would make for a good sound for a videogame or movie that needs static of some kind. It's just too bad my headphones don't work anymore. Hey guys & dolls !. I've recorded this kind of strange sound with a kitchen saucer on my zink top. It's sounds like something that can be used for example a light aircraft'spropeller blades that is struggling to start or to swing as such,. .
